Larry June, 2 Chainz, and The Alchemist connect to produce an incredible listen. The trio combine to give listeners 11 track of super smooth luxury rhymes over equally luxury beats. Throughout the album Chainz and Larry June clear distinctions and differences in delivery wok with together to give each song needed character. Larry June comes on each of these Alchemist beats with his relaxed flow and monotone delivery which would usually get old but with the way 2chainz comes on each track with life and flow changes, June’s flow and delivery actually serve as a perfect compliment. This flow on its own truly compliments Al’s production by allowing the beat to shine , but on this album it also provides the perfect contrast to 2chainze flow, allowing each of the rappers verses to be highlighted throughout the album without eithers sound feeling boring or repetitive. And as aways both 2 Chainz, and Larry June come with incredible wit and wordplay providing a multitude of mesmerizing verses and an unimaginable quantity of quotable bars. Alchemist’s role on this project can’t be undervalued, each of these beats is an incredible work of art and revolves around a common theme throughout the album. In many ways this album sounds like a continuation of Alchemist 2020 collab album with Freddie Gibbs “Alfredo”. Overall this album serves as an early contestant for AOTY, as it provides a 37 minutes of luxary. The trio combine to go 11/11 and provide the first listen of the year with no clear skips while still providing several standout moments.
