Lakers Late Trade Backfires

Mark Williams will be returning to Charlotte after he fails physical with LA.

The Los Angeles Lakers have failed Mark Williams in his physical thus rescinding their trade with the Hornets resulting in Dalton Knect Cam Reddish and draft capital being returned to LA, and Williams back to Charlotte. The trade deadline has since passed so the trade can not be amended, and no other trades can be pursued.

Williams ,is a young promising center who has been plagued by injuries early in his career playing in only 85 career games over two and a half seasons. Williams still only 23 was targeted to be Luka’s running mate and lob threat for years to come and fill the immediate void at center in the Laker’s current line up. Rob Pelinka will now be tasked with trying to find a solution at center for the Lakers going forward.
